One Body, Many Members
Lectionary this week: Revised Common Lectionary — Year A (Season after Pentecost)
Scripture for Today
1 Corinthians 12:12-27
Read the full passage in your Bible, then pause to let the Holy Spirit apply it to your heart.
Reflection
No believer is meant to walk alone. In baptism we were grafted into one body — find your part in it, and honour the parts of others.
Sunday’s Lectionary
Revised Common Lectionary — Year A (Season after Pentecost)
The readings appointed for this Sunday — come prepared, or follow along in church.
A Collect for Peace (Evening)
O God, from whom all holy desires, all good counsels, and all just works do proceed: give unto thy servants that peace which the world cannot give; that both our hearts may be set to obey thy commandments, and also that by thee we being defended from the fear of our enemies may pass our time in rest and quietness; through the merits of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen.
