The Faith We Hold
Anglicans confess no new gospel — we hold the faith “once delivered to the saints” (Jude 3), received through Scripture, taught in the ancient creeds, celebrated in the sacraments, and guarded by the historic ministry of bishops, priests and deacons. These four foundations — Scripture, Creeds, Sacraments, and the Historic Episcopate — are the cornerstones of Anglican identity worldwide.
Anglicanism is often described as reformed and catholic: protestant in its doctrine of salvation by grace through faith, yet catholic in its worship, order and continuity with the early Church. Explore each foundation below.
An Invitation
The best way to know what we believe is to worship with us. Join us any Sunday at 7:30 or 9:30 am, come to Wednesday Bible Study, or contact the vicar to arrange a conversation — or baptismal or confirmation preparation.
