He Is Risen
Lectionary this week: Revised Common Lectionary — Year A (Season after Pentecost)
Scripture for Today
Luke 24:1-12
Read the full passage in your Bible, then pause to let the Holy Spirit apply it to your heart.
Reflection
The resurrection is not only an Easter truth — it is the ground of every day. Because He lives, you face nothing alone and nothing final.
Sunday’s Lectionary
Revised Common Lectionary — Year A (Season after Pentecost)
The readings appointed for this Sunday — come prepared, or follow along in church.
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
